Technical Specs of Ice Floor

• Extruded aluminum panels measuring 2 1/2 by 30 feet
• Can be assembled one to four across and as long as necessary
• Ethylene glycol (antifreeze) is circulated through the pipes which freezes the water on top of the panels
• Surface must be level (1/2" tolerance) so that ice will be even thickness
• Can assemble 60 foot by 160 foot rink including dasher board
• Outside usage is excellent provided direct sunlight, wind and/or rain can be controlled
• Dasher boards encircle the entire rink for safety and control of skaters
• Plexiglas above the dashers is available on advance notice
• Weight of each floor panel is 350 pounds
• Weight of ice is approximately 2 pounds per foot on the surface of the floor

Skate and Rental Office

• 580 rental skates are carried to the site about 2/3 figure and 1/3 hockey
